My Journey to Hypnotherapy

I am Sophie Walker, a solution-focused hypnotherapist. I first discovered hypnotherapy as a client many years ago and was amazed at how effective it was in helping me overcome the challenges I faced.

I had started to lose hope and was concerned this was something I would have to live with. Hypnotherapy offered a calm, positive, forward-looking approach, and I will be forever grateful to my hypnotherapist.

Hypnotherapy gently changed my thought patterns in a relaxing and enjoyable way. I felt empowered throughout the process.

There were many reasons I enjoyed the hypnotherapy process, but I particularly appreciated how refreshing it was. There was no need to revisit past issues and I didn’t have to complete extensive homework each week.

Learning about how my brain works allowed me to understand that change was not only possible but achievable. This inspired me to qualify as a hypnotherapist so I could support others in changing their lives and achieving their goals.

Questions Before Booking

Yes, hypnotherapy is completely safe. You remain in control at all times and cannot be made to do anything against your will. It's a natural state of focused relaxation that we all experience daily.

The number of sessions varies depending on your goals. Most clients see significant improvement in 3-6 sessions. Stop smoking typically requires just one intensive session.

Almost everyone can experience hypnosis. It's a natural state we enter daily, like when you're absorbed in a book or daydreaming. If you can relax and follow instructions, you can be hypnotised.

Yes! Online sessions are just as effective as in-person sessions. All you need is a quiet, private space and a reliable internet connection.

I require 24 hours notice for cancellations. This allows us to offer the slot to someone else. Emergency cancellations are handled on a case-by-case basis.
